Everyone loves steak, everyone loves cheese (well, apart from vegans). A cheese steak sandwich is a true joy to behold. Tonight, I created a Lo-Dough variation using a chipotle spiced minute steak, with a slice of edam cheese, salad, mayonnaise and hot sauce.
I cut the Lo-Dough into a rectangular piece that could be folded around the filling. The steak was flash fried for just two minutes then loaded with 1 slice of cheese, a bunch of salad and drizzled in sauce. Super quick, easy and wonderfully satisfying. Calories were looking like they’d be really low, so I gently browned the Lo-Dough in real butter for an extra indulgent taste.
