- 1 piece of
- 60g of soft goats cheese, cut into slices
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- A teaspoon of chopped fresh thyme
- Spray oil
What you'll need
This diet-friendly recipe is possible with:
- Slowly sweat your sliced onion in a frying pan over a low heat. This can take up to between 20 and 30 mins for delicious, caramel brown onions.
Lo-Doughand add the cooked onion over one half. Sprinkle over the thyme, then add the sliced cheese. Fold over the sandwich lid.
Using either a spray-oiled (3-4 sprays) sandwich press or even just a pan, place your sandwich in and allow to cook for approx 5-7 minutes. If using the pan, make sure it is on a lower heat, so as not to burn (you may also have to hold to top half of the
Lo-Doughdown until it holds as a sandwich top).
- Serve hot alongside some salad.
